Father/Daughter Dance

The flier should have come home regarding the SA PTO 3rd Annual Father/Daughter Dance. It will be held on Friday February 24th 6PM-9PM at the South Amboy Middle/High School Cafe. It is open to young ladies (school age) and their Dad/Male Guardian. Ticket cost is $25.00 per couple, $5.00 each additional girl. The theme this year is “Enchanted Evening Under the Stars”.

Your form should be filled out with check or money order attached by Wednesday February 8th and returned to school. If you need a new form, they can be found at the new PTO pedestal located in the elementary school hallway outside the main office. If you would like to help with donations or by volunteering, please see Shannon Gonzalez or call her at 732-762-5976.

Anti-Bullying Parent Meeting

On Wednesday January 25th at 6:30 PM in the SA Middle/High School Auditorium there will be an Olweus Anti-Bullying Parent Meeting. All parents are encouraged to attend. The school district wide program will be reviewed for Parents and Guardians. Any questions please contact Mr. Gore at the SA High School at ext 3234. Please come out to be informed about the new program. Hope to see you there.

GENERAL MEETING TONIGHT…

There will be a SA PTO General Meeting TONIGHT Wednesday January 18th at the SA Elementary School. It will start promptly at 6:30PM. Due to Family Math Night the meeting will take place in Mrs. Falvo’s classroom. It is located through the cafeteria and through the double doors. It will be the first classroom on the right. Hope to see you there.

Market Day

Please remember on Monday-Wednesday November 21-23 there will be short session/half days for all students.

Texas Roadhouse…THIS WEEKEND…

The PTO will be having a fundraiser, this weekend, September 24th and 25th, at Texas Roadhouse, Old Bridge, between noon and 4P.M. You need a copy of the printed flier to give to your host/hostess. 10% of your bill will be donated to the SA PTO. Also, if you bring a backpack and/or school supplies you will get a certificate for a free appetizer to be used at a later date. There will also be raffles for prizes. Won’t you come out for a great meal and support the children of South Amboy.

FYI, the backpack collection will be coming back to the students in need from our own home town of South Amboy. If you are able to help by bringing school supplies or a new/gently used backpack it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support.

The Elementary School will be doing school photos NEXT WEEK! Dates/grades are as follows:

Tuesday September 27th will be grades Pre-K, K, and 1st.

Wednesday September 28th will be grades 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

Thursday September 29th will be grades 5th and 6th.

Come with your form filled out, payment enclosed, if you choose to purchase photos. Also remember, each student receives 1 (one) free class photo.

General Meeting

We will be having our first PTO General Meeting on Wednesday, September 21st. It will be at 6:00 P.M. at the Middle/High School Cafeteria. Sorry, but childcare will not be offered. We will have a full agenda with much information to share with everyone. Please spread the word. The date, time and place are also on the monthly calendar supplied by the Elementary School.
